Join us for the final Poetry Atlanta Presents… of the year on Nov. 19 at 7:15 p.m. at the Decatur Library Auditorium, 215 Sycamore St. The event is co-sponsored by Georgia Center for the Book and is free and open to the public. There will be books available for sale.
Michelle Castleberry's work has appeared in Umbrella, Bellemeade Books, The Dead

Review. She is most proud of her involvement in the Athens, Georgia
community of Word of Mouth, a monthly open poetry reading. Her first book, Dissecting the Angel and Other Poems,
was selected as finalist for poetry in the Georgia Author of the Year award.
Lynn Alexander
is Managing Editor of the Atlanta Review is former Editor of Poetry
Atlanta. She is author of two chapbooks, Hanging Clothes at Midnight and
Man Done Gone, (June,2014, Finishing Line Press). She tutors
English at Georgia Perimeter College and is a Pine Lake City Councilperson.
Karen Paul Holmes
is the author of the poetry collection, Untying
the Knot (Aldrich Press, 2014), which tells a story of loss and healing
“with grace, humor, self-awareness and without a dollop of self-pity,”
according to Poet Thomas Lux. Karen is a
freelance business writer, poet and writing teacher who founded and hosts the Side
Door Poets in Atlanta and the monthly Writers’ Night Out in the North Georgia
mountains. She received an Elizabeth George Foundation emerging writer grant in
2012. Publishing credits include Poetry
East, Atlanta Review, Caesura, POEM, The Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, The Southern
Poetry Anthology Vol 5: Georgia, and the forthcoming anthology of Georgia
poets from Negative Capability Press.
