Avondale Estates Poetry Reading: Alice Lovelace
Savage Pizza

Avondale Estates’ monthly poetry reading will feature widely published and very popular award-winning performance poet Alice Lovelace at Avondale’s Savage Pizza (corner of Laredo and N. Clarendon) 115 Laredo. Local poets and poetry lovers can share a favorite poem or two during the open reading from 7 :15 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the featured poet begins reading at 8 p.m.

Poetry at Callanwolde: Robert Lee Brewer and Tom Lombardo
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center 

Robert Lee Brewer, a native of Ohio, is a Senior Content Editor of the Writer’s Digest Writing Community and writes the "Poetic Asides" blog for Writer's Digest. He also curates an image-based poetry series for Virginia Quarterly Review. His poems may be found in dozens of online and print publications and in his poetry collection Solving The World's Problems. Tom Lombardo is the author of the poetry volume What Bends Us Blue (2013) and the forthcoming poetry chapbook The Name of This Game. He is the Poetry Series Editor for Press 53, based in Winston-Salem, and he has edited the anthology After Shocks: The Poetry of Recovery for Life-Shattering Events as well as numerous poetry collections. $5 General Admission, $3 Students with ID, Seniors, and Members.
