Join amateur and professional poets alike as Callanwolde celebrates the art and performance of poetry with its open mic poetry reading night in the unique setting of the Callanwolde Library. Stonewall Month Poetry Workshop

Phillip Rush Center
“Examining What We Have & Where It Can Take Us” is a poetry workshop that will be led by Pushcart Prize nominee Dustin Brookshire. Workshop participants will bring in one “finished” poem or a poem in progress for a semi traditional workshop experience and embrace the words of Ellen Bryant Voigt, “It’s all a draft until you die.” Then the poets will participate in a generative exercise.
