Stonewall Month Poetry Workshop
Phillip Rush Center
“Examining What We Have & Where It Can Take Us” is a poetry workshop that will be led by Pushcart Prize nominee Dustin Brookshire. Workshop participants will bring in one “finished” poem or a poem in progress for a semi traditional workshop experience and embrace the words of Ellen Bryant Voigt, “It’s all a draft until you die.” Then the poets will participate in a generative exercise. The workshop is free and open to all; it will be held at The Phillip Rush Center, 1530 DeKalb Ave., Suite A.
